MPhys. (Physiotherapy), B.App.Sc (Exercise Physiology)
Ned's journey into physiotherapy is deeply rooted in his own athletic experiences and challenges. While playing through South Fremantle’s development and senior programs in the WAFL, Ned studied a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Western Australia, where he graduated in 2021. However, recurring injuries not only sidelined his playing career but also ignited a profound desire to assist others navigating their own paths through pain and injury. This newfound passion led Ned to pursue further education in Brisbane, where he earned a Masters of Physiotherapy Studies from The University of Queensland.
Outside the clinic, Ned's love for sports continues unabated. He is actively involved in local football, tennis, basketball, gym, and surfing. His affinity for the outdoors extends to running and hiking, exploring nature's tranquillity as a counterbalance to his dynamic sporting pursuits. He also enjoys walking his greyhound, Patrick.
In his practice, Ned is committed to empowering clients by equipping them with the necessary tools and strategies to enhance their own pain management and functional abilities. He emphasises the importance of a holistic approach, combining effective education, targeted exercise, and evidence-based manual therapy to foster recovery and resilience. Through this comprehensive methodology, Ned not only addresses immediate concerns but also champions long-term health and wellness, ensuring clients can return to and enjoy their favourite activities with confidence and strength.
